How It Works

Get started in simple steps

Install Feedback 360 to your Google Sheets from the Google Workspace Marketplace or directly from the Google Sheets add-on menu.

Once installed, the add-on will appear in your Google Sheets toolbar, ready to streamline your 360-degree feedback process. The installation is quick and secure, with all data remaining within your Google Workspace environment.

Create a 'mapping' sheet with feedback receiver and giver email columns to define who provides feedback to whom.

If there are multiple feedback givers for the same receiver, list them in separate rows while keeping the feedback receiver unchanged. Optionally include a 'form' column if you're mapping multiple forms.

To enhance functionality, add a 'master' sheet to store additional data like titles and departments, which helps personalize notifications and reports. The only mandatory column in the master sheet is 'email', but additional columns enable richer personalization.

Design and add Google Forms for collecting feedback with any question types according to your requirements.

When sending forms, Feedback 360 doesn't modify your form design or questions - it only adds a 'Feedback receiver email' field as the first question, which is pre-populated in notifications.

Configure form settings like anonymity, average benchmarks, and NPS reporting for comprehensive reports. Use form labels from added forms in your mapping sheet's 'form' column to assign specific feedback givers for better organization.

You can add forms using either the Form ID or Google Form's Edit URL, and manage them with operations like opening in edit mode or controlling reporting settings.

Create personalized email and Slack notification reminders with custom sender names, subjects, and message templates.

The notification message body can be customized using basic visual formatting (Bold, Italic, Links, etc.) and must include the {{feedback_receiver_list}} placeholder, which gets replaced by the feedback receiver list with links to Google Forms.

Use the Feedback Receiver List Item Template to customize each item in the list with available placeholders. Email notifications are sent from the address using the Feedback 360 add-on, while Slack bot notifications require a valid Slack Bot API key.

You can schedule notifications as daily reminders at specific times, and notifications are only sent to feedback givers who haven't completed their tasks.
